Banna looked in Trinity's eyes. She was screwed. Why did Belbis have to say anything? She had told him, months ago not to say ANYTHING. Perhaps that’s why he hasn’t spoken much recently. Oh dear, Trinity looks angry. Banna was a dead girl.
Suddenly, Trinity broke into laughter. Both Banna and Belbis stared at her in surprise. Trinity laughed and laughed. Graz’gorg instantly stopped his constant circling and rushed next to his master. Trinity tried to wave him off, but he had no idea what was going on. The void walker, or even Banna had never seen trinity laugh so richly before. She had pretended many times, but Trinity was really laughing. Graz’gorg didn’t like the change; slowly his eyes began to burn red. The void walkers sign of fear, and the first step into blood lust. Trinity, sensing the problem, forced herself to swallow her giggles and ordered him to continue patrolling.
“Ohh, Banna! You’re so funny.” She looked at Banna’s frightened eyes “My guess is that you made a joke.”
“Of-of course!” Banna smiled, relief rushing through her. Belbis sensed a dramatic change in the emotion patterns from Banna and Trinity. But he realized they were both different. “ < Yeah, Belbis! We were joking!> “ She winked at the Imp, he caught on.
“< Yeah! Chipmunks!! Hehehehe…there aren’t anymore>” Trinity didn’t notice his last comment, and Banna didn’t care. She wasn’t found out. That was too close.
“Yes.” The warlock muttered to herself. “If father came now, I will have failed him!” She laughed to herself some more. Banna looked over her. She thought Belbis was talking about their father in the trees? Banna had never been too close to their father; he was too busy working with Trinity to pay attention to her.
“When did he say that he was coming?” Banna asked, her voice much more calm now that they were off the topic of Kelk. Trinity stood.
“He, umm, he didn’t.” Was all she said before she walked into the forest.
“< What’s wrong with her? >” Belbis pointed in the direction of her fading figure. “ < Suddenly very calm, less sarcastic…>” Belbis frowned. Banna turned to him
“ < Not the only one, either. >” She poked him in the stomach. He snarled. “ <I’d be saying much more if your mark wasn’t on my wrist! >” Banna didn’t understand much, but when he protruded his right wrist under her nose, she knew he was talking about their contact.
“Heh, yeah.” She smiled, and looked at her own wrist. A small demonic word was tattooed there; ever sense she first summoned Belbis. A long thin black line extended along her arm, circled around another black line. The symbol of Banna Childs. Yes, she had registered herself as her false name, but it didn’t matter.
Trinity had five, all along her arm. For her five contacts. Banna envied her, for her multiple demons.
“ < Belbis!>” She said to him “< I’m going to see Kelk tonight, make sure Trinity doesn’t wake.>”
“< And if she does, what do you suggest I do? Torch her back to sleep? Mehehehhehe >” He laughed at his own sarcasm. Banna only understood ‘Torch’ but hoped it didn’t mean anything. Gripping a Soul Shard in her pocket, she thought of attempting away from Trinity’s stern glare.
“Why hello there.” Banna spun around wildly, her wand raised. In the tallest tree, a figure sat.
“Kelk!”
Alllllright! This is just about Trinity......and her ummm.....relationship with her father...NO There was none of the "Hey dad, lets have leamons tonight!! n_n' Nooo......none of that...... just all..."Wheee daddy!" Uh....i'm going to leave now...alright BIBI!!!
